Recycling - The iBook, PowerBook, MacBook, iMac, iPod & iPhone scrap yard
The Bookyard is primarily a recycling company taking computers, iPods, iPhones and their components that
would otherwise be considered waste and supplying them for use in fixing other faulty items and in doing so,
keeping them from the waste tip. Sorry, Apple; we know you would love everyone to just buy a new machine
but we´re committed to helping users make their Macs last longer.
There comes a time, however, when every Mac goes to meet it´s maker. Or maybe it´s
simply too slow and obsolete for your needs and it´s just sitting
in a cupboard. Maybe you thought it was worthless but we may be able
to buy it off you to recycle. At The Bookyard, we strip old & dead Apple laptops, desktops, iPods & iPhones
down to their component parts, catalogue and test the parts and then
supply them through our parts store for use in repairing other machines.
Almost every part of the unit is re-used and those components which cannot be
re-used are processed through a leading technology recycling centre
thus providing an environmentally friendly way of disposing of your hardware.
If you have a dead, faulty or obsolete Apple laptop (G3 or newer), Mac Mini,
iMac (G5 or newer), iPod or iPhone
that you would like to cash in and dispose of it in a responsible way then
complete the relevant parts of the form below and we will reply with a quote.
Please be as honest, accurate and descriptive as you can about the computer, it's condition and the fault. If you accept a quote based on this form but when we collect and evaluate the machine we find it to be inaccurate, we may have to adjust our quote accordingly. If you subsequently do not wish to accept the revised quote, you will be required to pay for the two way shipping at a cost of £24 + VAT.
