Used on the Retina MacBook Pro range from 2016. Features a second generation of 'Butterfly' clip, and the new San Fransisco type face. Although visually similar to the Type-L clips used in the 2015 Retina MacBook models and the type-P clips used on the 2017 models, they are slightly different and we recommend using the correct clip for the year.

Note: Butterfly clips are NOT included with keycaps but can be purchased separately.

Caution : Removing and refitting butterfly keycaps is more complex than earlier scissor clip designs. Replacing the butterfly clip can permanently damage the plastic mount on the keyboard rendering the keyboard useless.
