The iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd generation was originally released in 2017 as a replacement or iPad Pro 12.9”. The iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd generation featured a six-core 2.3GHz Apple A10X Fusion SoC with an embedded M10 motion coprocessor equipped with 128KB of L1 cache (64KB instruction + 64KB data) and 8MB of L2 cache, 4GB of LPDDR4 memory and a twelve-core PowerVR GPU. The iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd generation could be configured with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of flash storage, Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and Cellular connectivity and was available in Space Gray, Silver and Gold finishes.
The iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd generation featured a fully laminated 12.9” LED-backlit Multi-Touch 2,7324x2,048 (264 ppi) Retina widescreen True Tone display, Touch ID integrated into the home button, support for Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual channel (2.4GHz and 5GHz) networks, Bluetooth 4.2 and 4G networks (region dependant), 3.5mm headphone jack, dual microphones, quad stereo speakers, smart connector and lightning connector. The iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd generation has two cameras a front 7-mega-pixel FaceTime camera capable of 1080p HD video recording and a rear 12-megapixel camera with support for 4K video recording at 30fps, 1080p HD at 30fps or 60fps, 720p HD at 30fps and slo-mo video support 1080p HD at 120fps or 720p at 240fps. The iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd generation has a built-in 41Wh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery capable of up to 10 hours of battery life.
