It was also IPX7 water resistant up to 1 meter for 30minutes.

The Apple Watch first generation was the start of Apples health and fitness ‘revolution’ and was their first device to have a functional heart rate sensor built into the Digital Crown on the underside of the device. The watch strap was also easily removable so that straps could be swapped in and out.

The Apple Watch first generation was available in three models, Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition. The Apple Watch Sport had a aluminium housing and was available in Silver, Space Gray, Gold and Rose Gold finishes. The Apple Watch was available in stainless steel or black stainless steel housing options and the Apple Watch Edition had an 18-karat gold housing available in both yellow gold and rose gold finishes. The Apple Watch Edition price ranged from £8,000-£13,500.
