This is the Retina 4.5K LCD panel and front glass assembly for for the iMac 24” M1 2021 4-port models only. Only the 4-port variant of the iMac 24" M1 shipped in purple.
Despite the model being known as being “24-inch” the LCD panel is actually a 23.5-inch LED-backlit widescreen TFT active matrix “Retina 4.5K” display, with a native resolution of 4480x2520 at 218 ppi (Pixels per inch). It also features Apple’s ‘True Tone’ functionality and 500nits max brightness.
Please note that this listing is for the Purple variant however there is no functional difference between any of the other colour variants, it is purely cosmetic.
These displays are attatched to the rear housing unit via very high bond double sided tape. If the seal is broken between the housing and the LCD panel the VHB tape must be replaced. Failing to do so can lead to the display being unstable and could potentially fall of the body of the machine and break.
Condition : Grade-A
Grade-A means that although used, this part is in excellent condition for it's age and if there are any cosmetic blemishes, they will be very minor.
