This is the 15" MacBook Pro logic board for the mid 2018 model only. This is generation of MacBook Pro used the Coffee Lake range of processors. This logic board consists of a 2.9GHz 6-Core i9 processor chip with 32GB PC4-19200 (2400MHz) integrated ram and 1TB of integrated flash storage. This logic board has dual integrated graphics card, AMD Radeon Pro Vega 20 with 4GB of dedicated HBM2 VRAM. It also has an Intel UHD Graphics 630 with 1.5GB of VRAM which is shared with the system.
This logic board will come with a fresh install of 10.13.6 (High Sierra) or later.

These machines have an auto boot feature which must be disabled before any work is carried out on the machine. By default this feature is disabled on all logic boards before they are stripped and will need to be re-enabled once fitted to a machine.
The Touch ID function is linked to the main logic board therefore the Touch ID and power button are sold with the logic board.
This is a highly static-sensitive device and replacement should not be attempted without suitable experience and anti-static precautions. If you remove the heat sink from the logic board, the seal must be re-made adequately when the new board is fitted to ensure the MacBook Pro does not overheat. Thermal paste is available from the Tools section.
