This listing is for a single 8GB 240-pin PC3-14900R (1866MHz) DDR3 ECC SDRAM for the Mac Pro Late 2013 model.
Please note that these modules are required to be upgraded in pairs or triplets, as the late 2013 Mac Pro supports interleaving. It can not be fitted alongside 14900E modules, which are now discontinued (originally fitted in Mac Pro 2013 machines)
• You cannot fit unmatched pairs (i.e. 1x 8GB +1x16GB), otherwise it will not boot.
• You cannot mix ECC and Non-ECC ram together. Most Apple ram is ECC, so this OWC ram will work when paired, but only if the matching capacities are paired together in the configurations noted below.
The base spec machine when purchased from Apple will always come with 3x4GB modules as standard.
