This is the Logic Board for the MacBook Air 13” M1 late 2020 modes only. This generation of MacBook Air used Apple’s first generation ARM based 5 nanometer ‘M1’ processor. This logic board has the M1 processor consisting of four high-performance 3.2GHz “Firestorm” and four energy-efficient 2.1GHz “Icestorm” cores, 16-core Neural Engine, 8GB of LPDDR4X (2,133MHz/4,266 MT/S) unified memory, 512GB of integrated PCIe based storage and a 8-core Apple GPU. This logic board will come with a fresh install of macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later.
This is a highly static-sensitive device and replacement should not be attempted without suitable experience and anti-static precautions. If you remove the heat sink from the logic board, the seal must be re-made adequately when the new board is fitted to ensure the MacBook Air does not overheat. Thermal paste is available from the Tools section.
