USB 2.0 1.8" IDE (PATA) hard drive enclosure with shock pads, USB cable and slip case. The enclosure comes with the 40-pin internal controller to drive flex cables. The device is powered from the USB bus and has a single micro USB port and a drive activity LED. The only model of mac that uses the 1.8" PATA hard drive is the original 2008 MacBook Air.The flex cable must be fitted the correct way up with the metalic contacts facing the drive controller board.
