Original Apple OSX 10.4.2 (Tiger) system install disks for iMac G5 models. This is a 2-disk DVD set which will install a complete fresh system. The disk set includes intergrated Apple Hardware Test. These disks are branded for the iMac G5 and will only directly work on this range although they may be purchased with the optional burned copy of a generic 10.4 installer. The generic installer cannot be purchased on it's own, only when purchased with a legitimate original copy of 10.4
Once installed, the system can be upgraded to the latest revision of Tiger (10.4.11) for free via the software update preferences panel.
This is a used, tested disk set from a recycled iMac.
