This is an LVDS cable for any original or ambient light sensor 20" iMac G5 fitted with an LG.Philips LCD. Not suitable for the iSight version. This cable carries the display signal from the logic board to the back of the LCD panel. Damage to this cable can cause the image on the display to corrupt or disappear.
