This is the I/O board for the Mac Pro late 2013. The I/O board consists of all the external sockets that are present on the rear of the machine.
These include:
• 4 USB 3.0 ports
• 6 Thunderbolt 2 ports
• 2 Ethernet ports
• 1 HDMI port.
It also has several ports that are located internally on the board on both sides.
Internally on the front side (Facing out of the machine) the I/O board also has the following ports:
• Audio Jack connector
• Illumination flex cable connector
• Main speaker
• Pram coin battery
On the rear of the board (Facing power supply) there are the following ports:
• Interposer board flex cable connector
• Power supply connectors
• Diagnostic LEDs
• I/O board flex cable connector
