Brand new LG.Philips LP171WE2-TL-03, glossy, 1680x1050 pixel (WSXGA), 17.1" TFT LCD panel. This panel is used on the dual layer superdrive version of the 1.67GHz (A1139) only but is also suitable for the 1.3GHz, 1.5GHz and single layer superdrive 1.67GHz 17" Aluminium PowerBook G4 and for 17". It can also be used in the 2.16GHz Core Duo 17" MacBook Pro.
Although only the dual layer SuperDrive 1.67GHz (A1139) PowerBook came with a 1680x1050 resolution screen, this LCD can be used in the stated earlier models and they drive this display at full resolution with millions of colours.
The LP171WE2-TL-03 is interchangeable with the LP171WE2-TL-A2
This is the bare panel including backlight tube but does not include bezel, PowerBook lid, cables or hinges.
